.days go by.
Days go by....man do they ever!!! I feel like I am going non-stop lately. Work has been keeping me really busy and as usual Nick and I are continually traveling on the weekends to visit family and friends. It's crazy at times but I love every minute of it :)
In the last month, we have gone to the Oregon coast with my family, traveled to Spokane for a family reuinion and wedding on the Dietzen side of the family, gone house shopping in Seattle, gone to 3 baseball games, a concert, golfed, shopped, worked many hours overtime, etc. etc. So much fun!
This weekend we are traveling back over to Spokane to spend time with Nicks family for the 4th of July. I am really looking forward to a 3 day weekend and a break from work since right now I am in the midst of my busy season. It will be such a relief when MLB Home Run Derby and All-Star Game are over as my account managers and I are responsible for all of the promotional items for these events. Crazy, fun and exciting all at the same time.
Here are a few pictures from the last month!

.long days.
One benefit to living in the Northwest is the long summer days we get. It seems like it is light out forever and I love it! It really doesn't get dark until about 10:00 at night and the sun starts rising before 5:00 am. It is glorious to wake up to the sun rising and to come home from work at 5 and know that you still have 5 more hours of sunlight :)

The weather has been absolutely GORGEOUS in Seattle the last few weeks...nothing but non stop sunshine and warm weather. My kind of weather :) Everyone here is complaining that its too hot or that they want it to rain...but I am soaking up every ounce of sunshine and warmth I can get. I am still a California girl at heart.
This weekend was fun and went by very quick! On Friday night, Nick was in the process of cooking hamburgers and then we were going to go Miniature Golfing. While he was BBQing I went into our room to read and proceeded to fall asleep for 2 and a half hours! I fell asleep at 6:30 and woke up at 9 pm!! What an exciting Friday night :) In my defense, work has been very busy lately and I have been putting in some long hours on top of having things going on almost everynight so I have been getting minimal sleep lately. I felt bad that Nick spend his Friday night alone though!!
On Saturday Nick and I went and looked at houses in the area. It was a lot of fun to look around and picture ourselves in a place that we actually OWN instead of are renting. I cannot wait to start decorating and getting settled. We found a few places that we like, but are still going to continue looking. So be praying that we find a place that fits for us!
Then Saturday afternoon Nick and I headed over the mountains to Eastern Washington (Moses Lake) to spend time with this family and celebrate his Grandpa's birthday. Saturday night we just hung out, got some ice cream and laid low. Then Sunday morning we went to church, went to Inca's Mexican restaurant for lunch with a big ground of people and we had them sing to Nick's grandpa and bring out the big sombrero. It was so cute because he was so surprised. Then the boys went golfing and the girls went to a family friend's pool and layed out. It was so hot out and felt good to lay by the pool.

Then we had Chico's pizza and headed home. It was a late night but totally worth it :)
Last night Nick and I went to the Mariner's game. It was such a nice night out and it was a fun game to watch. The Mariner's lost but we still had a great time. Nick is going to the game again tonight and sitting in the Diamond Club seats (basically on the field). Lucky man! So I am going to clean up around the house and get some things done that I have been putting off. Then I am going to bed early!!! I am still trying to catch up on sleep :)
The beautiful sunset on the way home. Washington is beautiful with all the mountains around. I didnt have my good camera and this turned out a little blurry but it was gorgeous anyways!
