What is Joubert Syndrome?

Mo Town to Sea Town

I cannot believe that the holiday's have already come and gone and it is already 2008! Where did all the time go?! Because my family is from California we spent Christmas with the Dietzen's in Moses Lake. It was a lot of fun to be around family and friends and have a full house. We got there early Sunday morning just in time to see Hannah in her performance at church and spend the next few days relaxing, playing games, eating and watching sports :) We had a wonderful Christmas Eve and a WHITE CHRISTMAS!!!

We were supposed to go home on Christmas night but there was a big winter storm and as we got close to the Snoqualmie pass it started to snow pretty hard. It wasn't til we spun out to the ditch on the side of the road and the roads kept getting worse that we decided to turn around and go back to Moses Lake and see if the weather cleared up. Because we had to come back on Friday anyways for our second wedding reception in Moses Lake, we just decided to stay instead of trying to fight the weather. We had so much fun while we stayed and even got to have a snowball fight with everyone :)
Our reception in Moses Lake was wonderful and it was a lot of fun to meet tons of new people. Although I was fighting a cold and had kind of lost my voice, i still enjoyed the fellowship with everyone. It was also a lot of fun because my parents were able to come up and spend 4 days with us and see what life in Moses Lake is like. We played games, spend time out in the snow, and just being around them. I miss seeing them everyday!
Now we are back to life in Seattle and jumping right back into the swing of things. We are still getting settled into our place and bought some pictures, shelves and picture frames to put on the wall. It was quite the sight to see us walking through the city with these huge frames and shelves...i guess thats what happens when you shop downtown. We spent the weekend running errands, buying pots and pans, and we went to Macy's for their one day only sale and Nick hit the jackpot with work clothes. Haha as you can probably tell Nick was thrilled to spend the day shopping!

But we did make it home for the Seahawk vs. Redskins game.  The Seahawks beat the Redskins this weekend which means they are playing the Packers at Lambeau field next weekend. For those of you that don't know...i live and breath Green Bay Football and Nick is a pretty big Seattle Seahawk fan so this weekend is going to be fun at our apartment. Let the trash talking begin...Go Pack Go! (hehe can you tell who is writing the blog?!)

Nick is busy at work this week and i am still in the process of looking for a job but i have a couple options so hopefully they will materialize. My dad is coming into town for work on Tuesday so it will be nice to have some family in town. Can't wait to see him!
