.california visit.

Nick and I were able to go down to southern California to visit family and friends in mid October. We had so much fun and it is always so great to see our amazing friends and family that God blessed us with. Even after not seeing them or talking to them everyday, we pick up right where we left off and have a wonderful time together. I cannot image what life would be like without those relationships.

So I just bought the new Carrie Underwood CD and there is a song on there that I thought was great. I am dedicating this post to my wonderful mom and all that she has sacrificed for me :) I wish this song was around when I got married because I would have added this in someway to my wedding day.

Nick and I feel so blessed to have bought a place and are loving every second of it! Here are a few sneak peaks of the house. There is still nothing hanging from the walls but we are making it our home slowly but surely.

Hebrews 12:10b-11

"But He disciples us for our good, that we many share His holiness. For the moment all discipline seems rather than pleasant, but later it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it."

I love this verse and the fact that it shows that even in the midst of trials and discipline, God is shaping us to be who He has created up to be. That we may be shaped to share in his holiness and trained by His hand. :)
