The Unexpected Journey: .jenkins visit.

This post is completely out of order but I am just now starting to catch up on all of our summer happenings so here we go :)

A few weeks after Parker was born, our dear friends Brad and Shannon and their beautiful daughter Sawyer came to stay with us for a few days to meet Parker. We had so much fun while they were here and it was so fun to just hang out and be together. While they were here we went on a ferry ride to Bainbridge Island and walked around the cute little downtown and then had lunch there. It was a beautiful day and I loved taking the ferry. After living here for almost 3 years we finally went on a ferry ride :). J.D. Angela and Mason came over that weekend and we all went downtown to Pike's place market. It was a lot of fun but it was in the mid 90's (which for Seattle is HOT!) and with 3 kids it was a little much, but we had a lot of fun. That night we came home and made a wonderful homemade meal with items we bought at the market and just hung out and talked. The boys took the babies for a walk in the strollers, which we all have the same stroller, and while walking around the neighborhood got quite a few stares :) They even had a neighbor ask them if they were part of some stroller gang! It was so fun to have them up here and we even got to have them around an extra day! Word to the wise, when booking your return trip, make sure you book it from the right airport (right Shannon ?!? ;)
